Let's talk about sun dresses. Cue, Big Sean's *Oh Gawd* voice, here. Normally, I would have an apathetic response in saying, 'eh, they're alright' but when it's hot during the Summer, especially in San Diego, I'm actually a little more favorable than usual for this style. Given, the hot weather right now, I would say that change in response is quite obvious but also, as I have been moving along with this Summer Shop Guide in collab LaJolla.com, I have actually, just naturally been finding summer dresses that work.
Because let's be real, I think we can all agree that what can make finding (and wearing) dresses so difficult is finding one with a good cut, a long-er length and one that isn't too intense. And by intense I mean one that doesn't leave me feeling like I'm overdressed or overexposed.
So moving forward, here is a style of dress I found that I particularly like. The shift dress or also known as a "box" type dress, known for its flowy nature. In my last Summer Shop Guide piece in collaboration with Swoon Collection, I also wore this style of dress. There are multiple renditions of this style, but the main thing with any style of dress is choosing what you feel MOST COMFORTABLE in.
